Seamus J. Carlin BSc (Hons) MSc MSc DIP.M MCIM MICMA

As Principal, Seamus provides leadership and direction on all client engagement works and contracts in Innovation, Investment and Impact.  A chartered marketer by profession, he has research, analysis and evaluation experience in the areas of social innovation, investment, impact, enterprise and responsibility. He has worked with clients across public, private, philanthropy and third sectors in UK & Ireland for 15 years on consulting, research and evaluation works. Seamus is a certified Social Return On Investment and PRINCE2® practitioner. He has two Masters degrees in Executive Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship & Innovation. He is also a member of the global Social Value International, Social Research Association and Graduate of the Institute of Management Consultants & Advisors in Ireland.  

Fintan D. Jennings BSc (Hons)

Fintan supports our works on Impact and Innovation.  A computer science graduate from Queen’s University Belfast, Fintan previously worked for a number of leading global technology, legal and financial firms on systems design, technology solutions and client architecture. He offers unrivaled technology expertise to Cruinn clients having worked on a range of applications for Utilities, Finance and Local Government clients previously. He also provides internal technical support lead for web development and social media channels.  Even though he's our resident 'techie', Fintan has an engaging personality which our clients appreciate from the insights in Innovation he brings from a technology and usability perspective for customer relationship management systems and databases for Impact reporting.

Gerard Cappa BSc MSc MIBC MAPM

Gerry leads and supports our works on Investment and Innovation.  A financial and project manager by profession, Gerry previously worked for a number of third sector organisations in financial roles. He offers impartial investment expertise to Cruinn clients having worked on a range of social investment and capital build schemes. Gerry brings a wealth of expertise in economic appraisals, infrastructure investment and project feasibility analysis. As a professional project manager, Gerry ensures all client projects are managed on time and budget by providing financial oversight and diligence. He is a member of the Institute of Business Consultants and Association for Project Management and has a Masters in Management & Innovation.

Dr. Katrina Collins BA (Hons) PhD

Katrina leads and supports delivery of our work on Impact.  An accomplished and published Research and Evaluation professional with a Doctorate in Psychology, Katrina brings experience is in participatory evaluation methodologies; implementation science; program/project/service evaluations. working with a diverse client base internationally. She has facilitated workshops, discussions and sessions using participatory, client focused approaches and published research and peer reviewed journals.  Katrina is our go to data cruncher on datasets from quantitative and qualitative sources with rigour and analysis to ensure data integrity and evidence is robust. Katrina is a also a member of the British Psychological Society and a legal Expert Witness.

Adrian M. P.  Ashton BSc (Hons) 

Adrian supports our works on Investment and Impact.  A Cambridge business graduate, Adrian previously worked for a leading PR consultancy in the UK before taking up various management roles with social enterprises and enteprise support bodies. He has a Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Business Advice, Level 5 business coach and mentor, SFEDI certified (including social enterprise & cooperative standards) and an ILM certified trainer. He is a respected award winning consultant and adviser including UK Business Advisor Enterprise Nation (2014), Best in Sector Social Enterprise & Best Social Enterprise Consultant (2015) and ACQ5 UK Consultant of Year Enterprise Support & Development (2016).  Adrian will also be our in-house resident blogger as we chronicle all things innovation, investment and impact.
